Therapy for times of change

In times of change, it can help to talk to someone.

It is common to experience stress, anxiety or confusion in times of change, even when we are making positive change in life. Family difficulties, relationship strain, work pressure, health concerns, or major life transitions all make demands on us mentally and emotionally.

I help people with anxiety using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while drawing heavily on evidence-based processes and skills. This helps to create a structured and flexible therapy approach to suit your needs.

Over a number of sessions (approximately 4-12, depending on your situation), I will work with you to:

  1. Make sense of the change you are going through and clarify what you want and need

  2. Build relevant knowledge and skills, and apply them when and where needed

  3. Solidify your new knowledge and skills, and leave with more clarity and confidence

If this approach sounds right for you, please get in touch about meeting.
