It is not uncommon to experience several difficulties at once. If you would like to work on anxiety, but other difficulties are more important or pressing right now, it is important to focus on those. If you experience other symptoms, including some of those listed below, please contact your doctor and / or the services listed here:

While treating social anxiety may help with low mood related to social issues, if symptoms of depression are more pressing it is important to work on those first. If you are experiencing symptoms of low mood or depression, please talk to your doctor, or contact 1737 (available 24 hours a day) for support and referral to relevant services.
Suicidal ideation or self-harm

Please note we cannot start therapy if you are experiencing risk due to suicidal thoughts or urges to self-harm. If you feel at risk of self-harm or suicide, talk to your doctor (non-urgent) or contact 1737 (24 hours a day) for support and referral to support services.
